Cargo tray

Tray initially seemed too short for my vehicle but after having car heat up in the sun and material getting more pliable it seems to fit better. I am going to add Velcro tabs on the end near the hatch to keep it from sliding forward when the seats are folded down. Overall I think its a great design the way it attaches under upholstery on the seats. I think a more pliable material would be better. I still think it was worth the money but its a 8.5 out of 10.

Poor Design

I have a feeling that all these positive reviews were written when the cargo tray was new. The problem is with the front sections that attach to the rear seats. They simply use a few Velcro stickers that cling to the seatback’s fuzzy cloth. Unfortunately, in a short amount of time, the stickers came “unstuck “ from the plastic of the cargo tray. The Velcro hooks work ok as long as they remain stuck to that plastic.

So- after a lot of discussion about this problem with my Hyundai dealer, they replaced the Velcro stickers with new ones. Again, after a few months, the stickers have peeled off the plastic, and the seat back covers fall down.

Unfortunately for me, this is a leased car, and I can’t make modifications to the car. The problem is far from a major one, and the cargo tray comes in handy. But this design flaw is annoying.
